Janus est le dieu romain des commencements et des fins, des choix, du passage. Il possède deux visages, l’un tourné vers le passé, l’autre vers l’avenir. “Je l’imagine comme un chien errant à deux têtes. Celle qui se tourne vers le passé aboie contre sa propre queue ; l’autre dresse ses oreilles pour anticiper l’avenir.” La partie centrale du chien est manquante. Ce vide suggère un présent qui se dessine comme un espace insaisissable et incontrôlable.
