Métaphore du jaillissement, une nuée d’oiseaux tente de transpercer un plafond de verre. Confrontés à la matière, ils luttent pour se libérer. Les jeux de lumière induits par la déformation du verre sous la poussée des oiseaux en grès enfumé reflètent la poésie du combat.

À l’image de ce couple improbable, les êtres sont constament aux prises avec leur environnement. Ils luttent pour s’extraire de la matière ou au contraire viennent la percuter, dans l’espoir de la vaincre. Emprisonnement ou libération, la lutte qui se joue entre ces deux corps inclue un troisième protagoniste : le verre. Il délimite l’espace autant qu’il matérialise l’impalpable : le souffle qui sépare le poisson de l’oiseau.

A metaphor for springing forth, a flock of birds tries to pierce a glass ceiling. Confronted with matter, they struggle to free themselves. The play of light induced by the deformation of the glass under the thrust of the smoky stoneware birds reflects the poetry of combat.

Like this unlikely couple, beings are constantly grappling with their environment. They struggle to extract themselves from matter or, on the contrary, come to collide with it, in the hope of defeating it. Imprisonment or liberation, the struggle that is played out between these two bodies includes a third protagonist: glass. It delimits space as much as it materializes the impalpable: the breath that separates the fish from the bird.
